Militarism 2018

World Beyond War has just released an updated 2018 mapping of militarism in the world. The map system can be explored and adjusted to display what you’re looking for, as well as display precise data and its sources at http://bit.ly/mappingmilitarism

Here are some examples of what it can show:

Where wars are present that directly and violently killed over 1,000 people in 2017:

Where wars are present and where wars come from are two different questions. If we look at where money is spent on wars and where weapons for wars are produced and exported, there is little overlap with the map above.

Here’s a map showing countries color-coded based on the dollar amount of their weapons exports to other governments from 2008-2015:

And here’s one showing the same but limited to exports to the Middle East:

Here are dictatorships that the United States sells or gives weapons to (and in most cases gives military training to):

These countries purchase U.S. weapons and report on it to the United Nations:

This next map shows countries color-coded based on how much they spend on their own militarism:

Here are countries colored based on how many nuclear weapons they have:

In the next map, every shade of orange or yellow (anything but gray) indicates the presence of some number of U.S. troops, not even counting special forces. Here’s a printable PDF.

The map system includes numerous maps illustrating steps toward peace. This one shows which nations are members of the International Criminal Court:

This one shows from which nations people have signed World BEYOND War’s pledge to help try to end all wars:

That pledge can be signed at http://worldbeyondwar.org/individual

These maps and more information about them can be found at World Beyond War (needs Flash Player to view).

Anti-GMO Media in Russia

Spreading Fears of the US Attempting a Global GMO Dictatorship

Researchers at Iowa State University expressed concerns that the activity of Russian media could harm the American GMO industry, by speculating upon how it intends to dominate the global food market.

"Russia is funding articles shared online that question the safety of GMOs in an effort hurt U.S. agriculture interests and bolster its position as the "ecologically clean alternative" to genetically engineered food, said Shawn Dorius, an Iowa State University assistant sociology professor. (Source - Feb. 2018)

The accusations are against Russian journalists trying to increase consumer interest in malicious technology take place against a backdrop of two trends. Firstly, the anti-Russian campaign launched by the Democratic Party in the US after the victory of Donald Trump in the presidential elections, and the US attempts to establish a GMO dictatorship across the world, which Russia is opposed to.

Seeds of Destruction (2007, F. William Engdahl)
This skillfully researched book focuses on how a small socio-political American elite seeks to establish control over the very basis of human survival: the provision of our daily bread. “Control the food and you control the people.”
This is no ordinary book about the perils of GMO. Engdahl takes the reader inside the corridors of power, into the backrooms of the science labs, behind closed doors in the corporate boardrooms.
The author cogently reveals a diabolical world of profit-driven political intrigue, government corruption and coercion, where genetic manipulation and the patenting of life forms are used to gain worldwide control over food production. If the book often reads as a crime story, that should come as no surprise. For that is what it is.
Engdahl’s carefully argued critique goes far beyond the familiar controversies surrounding the practice of genetic modification as a scientific technique. The book is an eye-opener, a must-read for all those committed to the causes of social justice and world peace.

The Coming Cashless Control Grid

A bundle of related issues from the alternative media lately …

1. The EU is Pushing “Restrictions On Payments In Cash”

In the most far-reaching move toward a cashless society to date, the European Commission proposed enforcing “restrictions on payments in cash” under an all-too-familiar premise — terrorism.

Perhaps the most astonishing and erroneous assumption in the plan is that terrorists and criminals will suddenly abide by the law — as if malicious groups would surmise, ‘Well, damn, large cash transactions aren’t possible, so I guess we’ll have to find another line of work.’

As pointed out by Sovereign Man’s, Simon Black, restricting large-sum cash dealings might have the opposite effect on crime:

If you examine countries with very low denominations of cash, the opposite holds true: crime rates, and in particular organised crime rates, are extremely high.

Consider Venezuela, Nigeria, Brazil, South Africa, etc. Organized crime is prevalent. Yet each of these has a currency whose maximum denomination is less than $30.

Black also presents several examples of countries who have taken the leap away from paper currency only to be hit with soaring crime rates.

In short, banning or severely limiting paper currency is ineffective at what governments claim such programmes are intended to do, as Black continues,

“Bottom line, the political and financial establishments want you to willingly get on board with the idea of abolishing, or at least reducing, cash […]

“Simply put, the data doesn’t support their assertion. It’s just another hoax that will give them more power at the expense of your privacy and freedom.

The freedom to spend, as one desires, on what one chooses comprises such a basic right, governments have had to propagate a massive campaign to conflate physical money with the criminal element.

2. India’s so-called “war on black money”

The same lie is being used to forcibly integrate the rural masses into biometric techno-financial regimes. But it has created tremendous hardships on for ordinary rural people, for whom access to such systems is limited and for whom such systems serve little purpose.

The rise of farmer suicides, the vast majority being related to indebtedness/bankruptcy, highlights the deep distress experienced across India’s agricultural society. It reflects a lack of intimate knowledge about rural economies, and smacks of a financialist agenda.

3. Australia Biometric Scanning at Airports

As The Sydney Morning Herald reports:

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection has sought technology that would abolish incoming passenger cards, remove the need for most passengers to show their passports and replace manned desks with electronic stations and automatic triage.

Officials are looking to use existing databases coupled with iris scans, facial recognition and fingerprint scans as the final phase of a five-year project called “Seamless Traveller” that is slated for completion by 2020. It’s all a part of the move toward a full-fledged Smart World where YOU become a digitally scanned device in a matrix of online and real-world activity.

4. China’s “Sesame Credit” A Blueprint For The West

This online ‘game’ rates Chinese citizens on how closely they adhere to the party line. It pulls data from the internet: social media, online purchases and search histories.
At present it is voluntary but rumours are the government plans to make it compulsory by 2020 …

Seems there are different interpretations of this story but it is something to be aware of in the wider context.

ENDS

The architect of endless war has changed his tune

Zbigniew Brzezinski, the man who has advised U.S. presidents for over 40 years … who preached that the US should use violence to dominate the world … who was cheerleader to Islamic extremists in Afghanistan in the 70s and 80s … has changed his tune.

(Aug 2016): In “Toward a Global Realignment“,  Brzezinski is not calling for peace or meaningful cooperation.  What he is essentially calling for is coordination among criminal syndicates. Recognising that the U.S. can not assert full spectrum dominance against Russia and China indefinitely, and urging it to come to an understanding with or both, or else risk either U.S. elites losing a significant role in geopolitics or having the whole world go pear shaped, is not the same thing as being against war.

The article makes clear that Brzezinski is quite comfortable with war and violence, as long as it is contained regionally and doesn’t jeopardize the privilege of the current elites. What Brzezinski is saying is, “We’d better cut a deal with the Russians and/or Chinese now while we still have the upper hand, or the final result may be far less to our liking.” Certainly, a more rationale position than Clinton’s, but still devoid of even a drop of the milk of human kindness.

One of the most telling half-truths in the article has to do with so called Islamic terrorism. If anyone should know and understand the West’s role in this, it should be Brzezinski. He pretty much started the ball rolling for Gladio-B (which Sibel Edmonds discusses at length on the Corbett Report). But somehow he fails to mention the CIA madrasas in Pakistan or the arming, training, funding and other support provided ISIS by the US and its allies.

Instead he puts all the violence in the middle east down to blow-back from colonialism. He cites divisions within Islam as a secondary cause, completely ignoring the fact that Sunni and Shia lived quite peacefully within Iraq, with many mixed marriages, until after the U.S. occupation, numerous false flag attacks and the occupiers pitting one group against the other.

The following 3 quotes provide an essential understanding of the difference between normal human beings and the psychopaths who gravitate toward the levers of power.

The scientific nature of the ordinary man Is to go on out and do the best you can”  —  John Prine

[The tyrant] is always stirring up some war or other, in order that the people may require a leader” —  Plato

This is not an honorable business conducted by honorable men in an honorable way. Don’t assume I’m that way and you shouldn’t be.”  —  Dr Henry Kissinger

These Unconscionable Crooks Should be in Jail

The Clown versus Criminal contest for the presidency of America foreshadows a coming tragedy for humanity which doesn’t bear thinking about. However there is one side of it which has emerged that is worth learning about — the Clinton Foundation.

Hilary Clinton is a committed hawk and firm believer in U.S. empire, and has left a legacy of disaster every place she lays hands upon. She played a uniquely hands-on role in the 2009 Honduras coup, just as she did in the equally disastrous war in Libya – assisted with quiet mega-bucks from the Clinton Foundation.

By now everyone has probably heard about Hillary’s email scandal, and how the FBI let her off so lightly. We assume that maybe it wasn’t so bad after all: just another one of those storm-in-a-tea-cup from the media to justify their own existence. Look up [hillary clinton criminal] to get a much clearer picture. Also look up [clinton rape list] as well: it fills in more of the bigger picture .

This is a story of fraud and corruption so vast in scope that it should result in putting the Clintons in prison, not back in the White House.

In his interview (below) investor and financial crimes researcher Charles Ortel calls it the “largest unprosecuted charity fraud ever attempted.”

Charles reports how the Clinton Foundation is part of an “international charity fraud network whose entire cumulative scale approaches and may even exceed $100 billion, measured from 1997 forward.” — where the missing Billions were stolen from those who needed it most, the world’s poorest of the poor.

The CLINTON-BUSH Haiti Fund … $Bill. charity fraud

After the devastating 2010 Haiti earthquake, the Bush and Clinton crime families formed The Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund.
What they have done is; they are stealing the people’s physical gold in Haiti, as well as perhaps stealing or diverting billions that were sent towards Haiti and are refusing to make an accounting for it.” ~ Charles Ortel.

Both these clips here are telephone interviews, each about half an hour long. Sometimes not that clear but these interviewees are both articulate authors with a history of political activism against government bureaucracy and secrecy.  You will get the essential message within the first five minutes.

The CLINTON FOUNDATION Is a Global Fraud Machine !

The real reason Hillary had a private server was to keep all the evidence of what’s called ‘quid pro quo’ bribery off the government communication system. The Clinton Foundation is essentially a $multi-billion charity fraud machine. She wanted to conceal the $millions going into the Clinton Foundation for her influence-peddling activities”.

“Bill and Hillary are unregistered, undeclared agents for foreign powers, particularly Israel and Saudi Arabia”. Let me also point out that the United Nations under Ban Ki-Moon is also a charity fraud – on the same scale”.

Another Big-Screen Movie Just Released Investigates Vaccines For Autism Implications

Hot on the heels of the CDC-whistleblower and vaccine-fraud-documentary VAXXED, a new feature length film – Man Made Epidemic – made its debut in London (UK) at the Curzon Cinema in Soho on Thursday, June 16, 2016!

Congratulations and thanks to filmmaker Natalie Beers, and other production crew members for taking on such an overwhelming project, and for having the fortitude to work on a much-needed investigation of vaccines, vaccinations and environmental issues relative to ever-increasing autism rates, particularly in the USA.

Man Made Epidemic” was earlier this month pulled from London’s East End Festival. That festival director decided to withdraw when another documentary VAXXED, which also dealt with vaccine safety, had earlier bowed to outside pressure and was pulled  from the Tribeca Film Festival.

Earlier, the movie VAXXED, which documents that embarrassing, conniving and fraudulent vaccine science story about how the US Centre for Disease Control (CDC) attempted to destroy compelling evidence that the MMR vaccine caused autism in young black boys – only weeks before had failed to make its debut screening at the Film Festival due to intense industry pressure.

When you see (below) Dr Hilleman’s* nonchalant disclosure from the film, plus how cavalierly colleagues treated the information, you will realise why you really have to question vaccine ingredients …

Media Mind Flicker

Mind Control Through “Information Flicker Effect”

Elite media coverage has one goal: to provide an expanding narrative of what is happening. It’s all a story. It has a plot on a  stage of its own making … this is how ‘live news’ works these days.

In New Zealand the media has always been heavily into the police show but increasingly that has become the only show in town, meanwhile (besides the overburden of Yank-o-phile garbage), any significant outcomes and events worldwide, are deliberately invisibilised from the masses. The more discerning viewers, those who long ago chose to Switch Off the TV, would now be aghast at the rubbish paraded as News there.

For those who yet teeter towards that choice here are excerpts from an article by Jon Rappoport exploring the Sandy Hook murder in US 2012:  Mind Control Achieved Through The “Information Flicker Effect” –  it’s worth a read.

In order to tell a story, there has to be a source of information. The topflight television anchors are getting their information from…where? Their junior reporters? Not really. Ultimately, the information is coming from the police, and secondarily from local officials. In other words, very little actual journalism is happening. The media anchors are absorbing, arranging, and broadcasting details given to them by the police investigators.

The news anchors are PR people for the police.   This has nothing to do with journalism. Nothing.

The law-enforcement agencies investigating on the scene in real time, are they following up on leads? We don’t know what leads they have and what they were discarding. We don’t know what mistakes they were making. We don’t know what evidence they were overlooking or intentionally ignoring.

At each succeeding point, a fact previously reported is jettisoned and forgotten, to be replaced with a new fact. The television viewer has to forget, along with the television anchor. The viewer wants to follow the developing narrative, so he has to forget. He has no choice if he wants to “stay in the loop.” But this flicker effect does something to the viewer’s mind. His mind is no longer alert. It’s not generating questions. Logic has been offloaded. Obvious questions and doubts are shelved.

All these obvious and reasonable questions (and many others) have to be scratched and forgotten, because the television story is moving into different territory, and the viewer wants to follow the story.  This constant flicker effect eventually produces, in the television viewer…passivity. He surrenders to the ongoing narrative. Surrenders dicrimination. This is mind control.

The television anchor doesn’t have a problem. His job is to move seamlessly, through an ever-increasing series of contradictions and discarded details, to keep the narrative going, to keep it credible. He knows how to do that. That’s why he is the anchor. He can make it seem as if the story is a growing discovery of what really happened, even though his narrative is littered with abandoned clues, dead-ends and senseless non-sequiturs.

And the viewer pays the price. Mired in passive acceptance of whatever the anchor is telling him, the viewer assumes his own grasp on logic and basic judgment is flawed. Now, understand that this viewer has been watching television news for years, has watched many of these breaking events. The cumulative effect is devastating.

Clinton Exposed

Clinton: Yet More High Profile Blood

When she was Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton green-lighted a violent Right-wing coup (2009) against the democratically-elected president of Honduras. She then worked to tirelessly to discredit its critics. One of those critics, Berta Cáceres, an articulate human-rights and environmental activist, just got a bullet in the head a few weeks ago. Cáceres wasn’t shy about mentioning Hilary Clinton by name.

Now, during the presidential primary and election season, she won’t be saying anything.

Since the Honduran coup more than 5,000 peasants have been imprisoned, including 1,700 peasant women, and over 140 women and men peasants have been assassinated in conflicts involving land tenure or the defence of territory.

Murder of Gaddaffi: Clinton Exposed

A recently declassified email exchange between Hillary Clinton and her adviser Sid Blumenthal shows that Clinton (while US Secretary of State) was up to her eyeballs in the conspiracy to kill off Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi (2011) and his Pan-African “Gold Dinar” currency. This woman has no conscience and should face trial for her crimes against humanity instead of being rewarded by her handlers with the ultimate damage control career.

Gaddaffi: The truth.

Remembering Berta Cáceres

In 1993, Berta co-founded the National Council of Popular and Indigenous Organizations of Honduras, or COPINH. For years, the group faced death threats and repression as they stood up to mining and dam projects that threatened to destroy their community. Last year, Cáceres won the Goldman Environmental Prize, the world’s leading environmental award. We hear Cáceres in her own words and speak to her nephew, Silvio Carrillo, and her longtime friend Beverly Bell.

TransCanada’s KXL Claim is a TPPA Wakeup Call for NZ

TransCanada, the tar sands company behind the Keystone XL pipeline is suing U.S. taxpayers for $15 billion — all because the U.S. government rejected the Keystone XL pipeline project.

Taxpayers will be on the hook for billions in damages if TransCanada wins.

The Keystone XL pipeline was designed to transport billions of barrels of bitumen, the world’s dirtiest oil, from Canada’s controversial tar sands to world markets. Pumping these record amounts of crude oil would spell disaster for the climate, and be incredibly hazardous in the case of a spill — and that’s why Americans stood together to say no.

Now TransCanada is using NAFTA — the North American Free Trade Agreement — to file its lawsuit. This decision about billions of dollars in taxpayer money will be made undemocratically in a private tribunal, instead of a court of law.

Lawsuits like this prove just how dangerous global trade deals like the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and Transatlantic Trade and Investment Pact (TTIP) can be.

COP 21: A Fraud

Fraudulent Science at COP21: Who Benefited?

Why has virtually every COP21 media article repeated the mistaken idea that the only strategy to fight climate change is the failed one to stop burning fossil fuels?

Big Ag, the giants of the industrial agriculture industry, including Monsanto, Dow, DuPont, Syngenta, Bayer, McDonald’s and the entire synthetic fertiliser industry—have miscounted and misrepresented America’s agricultural greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Sadly, thanks to Big Ag’s backroom political dealings in Washington, DC, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have agreed on the ludicrous statement that agriculture contributed only about 10 percent of U.S. GHG emissions in 2013, when in fact it was more than 25 percent.

When this erroneous conclusion is corrected and the formerly hidden facts are well understood by policy leaders and the public, we’ll be able to shift policies toward more regenerative, soil-honouring practices and then we’ll see sales of pesticides and chemical fertilisers plummet.

It’s plain to see why Monsanto and friends, via their high-level political appointees, influenced the U.S. and United Nations delegates at COP21. They eliminated agriculture and soils from the COP21 agenda and thus the final agreement—despite overwhelming evidence that soil sequestration (carbon farming) is the number one solution to stop the rise of CO2.

It is modern farming that is largely to blame

An article in the Washington Post (Barker & Pollan 4/12/15), describes how “a third of the carbon in the atmosphere today used to be in the soil and modern farming is largely to blame.” They point out that “practices such as the overuse of chemicals, excessive tilling and the use of heavy machinery disturb the soil’s organic matter, exposing carbon molecules to the air, where they combine with oxygen to create carbon dioxide. Put another way: Human activity has turned the living and fertile carbon system in our dirt into a toxic atmospheric gas.”

Luckily, There’s a Secret Weapon

“It’s possible to halt and even reverse this process,” the writers add, “through better agricultural policies and practices.” They go on to explain how “restoring carbon to the soil is not nearly as complicated as rethinking our transportation systems or replacing coal with renewable energy.”

Ronnie Cummins and Katherine Paul of the Organic Consumers Association pursued this same point in their recent piece How World Leaders Can Solve Global Warming with Regenerative Farming. They describe how the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCC) set out to achieve “a legally binding and universal agreement to make sure the Earth doesn’t get warmer than 2C above pre-industrial levels.

“To meet that goal, the French government launched the 4/1000 Initiative which, distilled to simplest terms, says this: If, on a global scale, we increase the soil carbon content of the soil by .04 percent each year for the next 25 years, we can draw down a critical mass of excess carbon from the atmosphere and begin to reverse global warming.”

Is the French 4/1000 Initiative realistic?

Yes, even by conservative estimates. Industrial, degenerative farming practices—which include tilling, deforestation, wetlands destruction and the use of massive amounts of synthetic and toxic fertilisers and pesticides—have stripped 136 billion tons of carbon out of the soil and sent it up into the atmosphere. Using the French government’s modest estimates, we can transfer, via enhanced plant photosynthesis, 150 billion tons of this carbon back into the soil in the next 25 years.

For some reason, Greenpeace, 350.org and the climate movement think putting close to 100% of our policy and educational efforts into shutting down oil is our one last hope to stop climate change. This is madness. Can they really believe that fewer people will be driving cars in 2020 than in 2015? And don’t they realise that every new hybrid or 100% electric car in its making will contribute almost as much greenhouse gas emissions as would driving a five-year-old Toyota?
